I’m Katy Craig—a coach, curriculum designer, facilitator, and lifelong improviser who believes growth should be both grounded and bold¹. For over two decades, I’ve supported high-achieving individuals and mission-driven teams in navigating complexity, leading with intention, and living in alignment with what matters most.
1—Because when we leap from a stable platform, we generate more force, which allows us to jump higher and travel farther. Also, like skipping, it's fun.
Trusted By Purpose-Driven Leaders Across Sectors
From corporate execs to creative changemakers, I’ve partnered with professionals across industries—helping them step into new roles, rethink legacy strategies, and lead through uncertainty. I also co-design flagship personal and professional development programs like the Boettcher Foundation’s Doers & Difference-Makers Fellowship and The Murmuration Collective’s Immersives.
Education & Lifelong Learning
I triple-majored in French, English, and Communications in undergrad.² I also hold an MFA in Creative Writing, an MA in English, and am a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School’s Art & Practice of Leadership Development, as well as CTI’s Co-Active Leadership and the Daniels College of Business’ High Performance Leadership programs.
2—Indecisive, maybe, but also really interesting and a heck of a lot of fun.
One of my favorite quotes is from John Dewey: "We don't learn from experience...we learn from reflecting on experience." It's tough in the rush and flow of everyday life, but I'm always trying to carve out time to find a quiet corner, gain some perspective, and hear myself think.

When I’m not coaching or facilitating…
You might find me enjoying porch drinks, or running to keep pace with my athletic partner, our energetic twins, miniature Goldendoodle, and newly adopted cat. I love experimenting in the kitchen with gluten-free baking (damn you, Celiac Disease), hitting the road for trips to visit friends and family in Colorado and South Dakota, or dreaming up ways to gamify my workouts. I also relish the thrill of treasure-hunting in thrift stores and the escape of disappearing into a new novel³, movie, or show.
3—Favorites include Mama Day by Gloria Naylor, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon, One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi, Plainsong by Kent Haruf, and Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin.
Who wants to do an over/under on how many of those Hershey's kisses actually made their way into the cookies...? Sometimes we have to let go of the plan and just choose joy.
