You don’t have to burn out to make a difference. You’re leading with purpose, but the pace isn’t sustainable¹. This program offers structured space to pause, reorient, and lead forward with more intention and less depletion.

Your impact depends on your sustainability. Define success on your terms. Set boundaries that protect your energy. Replace chronic overextension with strategies that hold up in real life.

1—Now, I’m not saying you can’t sprint—you’ve proven you can—but today’s complex challenges require leaders like you to sustain your full capacity over the span of your career.

The Six-Month Journey

Built to fit real schedules, real stakes, and real life.

Month One

  • Design and practice an individualized decision-making method that works for your circumstances and bolsters your joy, sense of identity, and quality relationships.

Resolve internal tensions between your professional ambition and personal priorities by identifying what true success looks and feels like to you.

Reduce feelings of isolation and cultivate meaningful community.

Manage your time and energy efficiently to accomplish what matters most.

Month Two

  • Learn how to set and hold healthy boundaries around work and life priorities to:

    • Avoid the depletion and resentment that comes from automatic agreement and people-pleasing.

    • Reclaim your agency for aligned decisions that increase your focus, balance, and effectiveness to help you move forward with more choice.

    • Save valuable mental and emotional energy by getting clear on when to say no.

    • Protect and enhance your relationships by being honest and direct while also being kind and respectful.

Month Three

  • Counter feelings of being “less than,” or not “ready” or “good enough,” to instead own what you have to offer and contribute at your best.

Grow confidence in your work and abilities to increase your comfort in taking meaningful risks.

Orient to your expanding roles and responsibilities to plan your path forward.

Month Four

  • Set and hold boundaries so you can know how to say no with confidence, reducing overwhelm, overload, and overthinking.

Prioritize with intention so competing priorities don’t drain your energy, preventing burnout.

Increase your choice and assertiveness to live the life you want and make the difference you know you can.

Month Five

  • Strengthen your ability to act and adapt with confidence, even in the face of complexity and uncertainty.

Build the practices that sustain your energy, sharpen your focus, and support your overall wellbeing.

Assess your vitality and apply renewal strategies that keep you performing at your best while protecting against exhaustion, burnout, and poor health.

Month Six

  • Bolster your physical, mental, and emotional health, thus increasing your overall wellness and gaining confidence in the sustainability of your lifestyle.

Foster relationships at work and beyond that energize you and move you forward with clarity and purpose—even if they didn’t start that way.

Develop personal support strategies that help you feel valued and resourced.

Take stock of your growth, set meaningful new goals, and expand your network with people who both challenge and champion you.

Cultivate authentic connections to increase your confidence, resilience, and capacity to lead as your best self.

Learn More About My Approach
  • “Katy focused on the development of a leader as a three-dimensional person. Learning and growing in an environment that cared for me so compassionately, while still pushing me out of my comfort zone, was maybe the most crucial component in turning the curriculum into lasting changes in my strategies, mindset, and motivations as a leader.”

    —

    JOSIE BOYNTON
    Grant Writer & Manager, Entrepreneur

  • “Katy’s unassuming nature and balance of nerdiness with fearlessness is a rare combination – she is art (complexity and interpretation) and science (research and precision) wrapped together. When I think of Katy, I think of depth of knowledge, intuition, and someone who makes meaning from complexity – which sets her dynamic facilitation apart.”

    CURTIS ESQUIBEL
Senior Director of Communications & Community Engagement
    The Boettcher Foundation

  • “Katy’s sessions were exceptionally well designed, with every detail carefully planned to ensure our time together was used to its fullest. The pacing of activities was balanced (efficient and purposeful, yet never rushed) allowing for both depth and reflection. She demonstrates a rare talent for guiding participants through complex material in a way that feels natural and engaging, rather than prescriptive. Her ability to maximize learning while maintaining a sense of ease and flow is a true mark of her professionalism and expertise.”

  • Expect to spend about 5 hours per month actively engaged—and much more organically shifting the way you lead, live, and relate.

    Each month includes:

    • One live virtual workshop (~2 hours)

    • Independent integration work, with customized feedback from Katy (~60 minutes)

    • One 1:1 coaching session with Katy (~60 minutes)

    • Continued experiments, reflection, gentle catch-up space, and Community Forum (~60 minutes)

  • If you’re worried about losing ground, take a deep breath—you won’t get left behind here. The curriculum is paced with care, and the final month is all about weaving your learning into something sustainable. There’s room to pause and recalibrate, plus recordings and asynchronous support to help you stay connected in the way that works best for you.

  • This comprehensive 6-month program is designed for each month's content to build upon, deepen, and advance the previous month's subject matter. Participants will move from clarifying what success means to them in Month 1 to identifying their priorities and supportive boundaries (Month 2), increasing their self-regard (Month 3), and putting their boundaries in action through intentional conversations grounded in healthy self-worth (Month 4). The program then culminates with strategies for continuous vitality (Month 5) and integration planning and practice (Month 6) to ensure that the large-scale changes made during the program become affirming routines.

Program content is delivered through a blend of proven and convenient vehicles. Each month will include:

    • A live virtual workshop for the cohort

    • Relevant independent work for participants to integrate new strategies and receive personalized feedback from Katy

    • Time to reflect, iterate, catch up on anything that felt rushed or that you had to delay

    • Community Forum where participants can engage with Katy and with each other to ask questions, expand discussions, and share insights and resources on various topics

    • An individualized 1:1 coaching session for each participant to deepen their learning in the way that serves them best

  • If you actively participate in all the workshops, 1:1 coaching sessions, and Community Forum discussions, you will see extensive, meaningful improvements in your life before the end of our time together.

Each component of the program is grounded in research and best practices of adult learning, plus the small cohort, 1:1 sessions, and Community Forum allow us to co-create an approach that’s customized to your unique needs and circumstances.

Rest assured, if you hit some bumps or something’s not working for you, we can use our live sessions and community conversations to recalibrate and get back on track.

    Previous clients report experiencing:

    • increased confidence, choice, and intentionality

    • less stress and overwhelm

    • more fulfillment, comfort, and ease

    • clearer boundaries and vision

    • increased trust and engagement from the people they lead
