The Aligned

Impact Institute™

A 6-month, research-based, real-world reset for charitable foundation executives balancing ambition, wellbeing, and impact.

You don’t have to burn out to make a difference. You’re leading with purpose, but the pace isn’t sustainable¹. This program offers structured space to pause, reorient, and lead forward with more intention and less depletion.

Your impact depends on your sustainability. Define success on your terms. Set boundaries that protect your energy. Replace chronic overextension with strategies that hold up in real life.

1—Now, I’m not saying you can’t sprint—you’ve proven you can—but today’s complex challenges require leaders like you to sustain your full capacity over the span of your career.

Micro Cohorts & 1:1 Opportunities

This is for you if you help lead a charitable foundation and are:

Often navigating work and high expectations while also supporting family and friends

Proud of what you’ve built, and know something needs to shift

Ready for less juggling and more alignment

Craving more spaciousness, clarity, and energy

Feeling the wear of chronic over-responsibility

Committed for the long haul and know you have to maintain your vitality to maximize your contribution

People waiting in line outdoors on a city street with sunlight and lens flare.

Cohorts have a way of reminding us: you don’t have to do it all alone to get where you want to be. We tend to learn just as much from one another as we do from our environment and the curriculum.

What you’ll gain:

Clarity on what success means to you now

Boundaries that protect your time and energy

Relief from overthinking and people-pleasing

Tools to manage uncertainty without losing momentum

Renewed confidence and vitality

A cohort that gets it
(and you)

Spontaneity

  • “Katy focused on the development of a leader as a three-dimensional person. Learning and growing in an environment that cared for me so compassionately, while still pushing me out of my comfort zone, was maybe the most crucial component in turning the curriculum into lasting changes in my strategies, mindset, and motivations as a leader.”

    Grant Writer & Manager, Entrepreneur

  • “Katy’s unassuming nature and balance of nerdiness with fearlessness is a rare combination – she is art (complexity and interpretation) and science (research and precision) wrapped together. When I think of Katy, I think of depth of knowledge, intuition, and someone who makes meaning from complexity – which sets her dynamic facilitation apart.”

    CURTIS ESQUIBEL
Senior Director of Communications & Community Engagement
    The Boettcher Foundation

  • “Katy’s sessions were exceptionally well designed, with every detail carefully planned to ensure our time together was used to its fullest. The pacing of activities was balanced (efficient and purposeful, yet never rushed) allowing for both depth and reflection. She demonstrates a rare talent for guiding participants through complex material in a way that feels natural and engaging, rather than prescriptive. Her ability to maximize learning while maintaining a sense of ease and flow is a true mark of her professionalism and expertise.”
