What Makes This Different?
Mentor coaching with me draws on five integrated foundations:
ICF MCC – Grounding: We begin with ethics, substance, and research-based best practices, clearly tying our feedback to the ICF Core Competencies and PCC Markers.
Co-Active Coaching – Creativity: You are naturally resourceful—our work honors that.
Adaptive Leadership – Experimentation: We try, learn, and grow in complexity and nuance.
Improv – Spontaneity: Coaching is a live art—we work with what shows up.
Narrative Acumen – Meaning: Together, we shape a trajectory that’s truly yours.

Live presence matters.
To meet ICF requirements, all group mentor coaching sessions must be attended in real time—no exceptions². These five sessions (totaling 7 hours of mentor coaching, plus 3 hours throughout to onboard, deepen, and complete our time as a cohort) are held over approximately 5 weeks via Zoom, scheduled well in advance at mutually agreed-upon times based on the availability of the group. Each session is a landmark on your journey - each stop matters, and having everyone in the car informs the trip.
2—In case of emergency, 1:1 sessions can be booked separately at a discounted rate of $200/session to count towards the necessary 10-hour requirement.

You have 3 hours of one-on-one mentor coaching built into your group program. You can schedule these before, during, or after your cohort sessions—whatever best supports your learning rhythm. Just be sure to complete them within one year of your group’s start, and spread your total 10 hours of mentor coaching over at least 3 months to support integration and meet ICF requirements. These sessions are your dedicated space to reflect and grow.

Yes—and here's why it’s worth it.
To meet ICF’s standards and make the most of our mentor coaching together, you’ll submit audio recordings of your coaching sessions for review and feedback. It's no different than Dr. Brené Brown going over a video of one of her speeches or Ted Lasso reviewing game tape with AFC Richmond: you’ll uncover insights and elevate your impact…while also getting used to recording yourself so the recordings you eventually submit with your ICF application will be even more you.
Note: Those in the group mentor coaching cohort will learn from their own and from others’ recorded sessions, reducing the total number of recorded sessions that they personally need to bring to mentor coaching. That said, 1-2 recordings are still a requirement of the ACC and PCC applications. -
To apply for or renew your ACC or PCC, you’ll need 10 hours of mentor coaching completed over at least 3 months, plus other ICF requirements (such as coach-specific training, logged coaching hours, and passing the relevant ICF exam). I can share insights from my own path, but the International Coaching Federation is the final authority on credentialing requirements.
